Greek salad

That’s why, according to one version, the Greek salad appeared in Greece at the end of the Greek War of Independence in the 20-30 years of XIX century.

  1. 200 gr. tomatoes
  2. 150 gr. cucumbers
  3. 150 gr. feta
  4. 50 oz. onions
  5. 25 gr. parsley
  6. 60 gr. olives
  7. 15 gr. olive oil
  8. salt, pepper, oregano

 

  1. Cut feta into cubes.
  2. Chop fresh herbs.
  3. Chop the vegetables in a bowl.
  4. Add the olives and olive oil.
  5. Stir and add the pieces of feta;
  6. Sprinkle with oregano, add salt and pepper.

Preparation time is about 10 minutes.
